Beyoncé legújabb videoklipje, a Best Thing I Never Had ma látott napvilágot. A kisfilm igazán személyesre sikeredett, ugyanis az énekesnő házasság előtt áll, és újragondolja eddigi életét.

A rajongók szerint az a fiú, aki a kisfilmben Beyoncét otthagyja egyedül a tánctéren, az énekesnő korábbi szerelmét, Lyndellt ábrázolja. A fiú akkor szakított a lánnyal, amikor megjelent a Destiny’s Child első albuma. Esküvője pedig a 2008-as Jay-Z-vel kötött házasságát jelképezi.

A videót Brooklynban vették fel június közepén, a rendező Diane Martel volt.
